French Toast

This satisfied a late night craving for something sweet and bready.

For three slices of french toast I used:

Three slices white, high fiber bread
Two jumbo eggs
Splash of tepid water
Two splashes of milk
Half capful of real vanilla
Sprinkle of sugar
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Butter
Syrup

Spray a non stick pan with nonstick spray and put flame on medium.
Mix all ingredients well and let bread soak in the mixture for several minutes.

Lay bread in hot pan and cook both sides until golden brown.
Serve with butter and syrup.

Variations:
Serve with powdered sugar
Serve with fruit or fruited syrup
Spread with jam or jelly
